Ring-Shaped Force Sensor LFC-68: Structural Composition

May 19Source: Intelligent Browse: 7

The Ring-Shaped Force Sensor (LFC-68) is designed with a compact ring structure that enables force measurement through a direct load path. Its performance is determined by four main structural components: the ring-shaped elastic body, strain gauge placement, central mounting hole, and protective housing with sealing structure.

Developed by Shenzhen Ligent Sensor Tech Co., Ltd., the LFC-68 is intended for integration into mechanical assemblies where force is transmitted through a central bolt or shaft.

Ring-Shaped Elastic Body

The core structure of the sensor is the ring-shaped elastic body, which serves as the main force-sensing element. When an external load is applied, the elastic body undergoes slight deformation according to the magnitude of the force.

The ring geometry allows the force to be distributed through the structure in a stable and controlled manner, forming the basis for force detection.

Strain Gauge Placement

Strain gauges are bonded onto designated positions on the surface of the elastic body. These positions are selected according to the deformation characteristics of the structure under load.

When the elastic body deforms, the strain gauges respond to the mechanical strain and convert it into electrical signal changes for measurement output.

Central Mounting Hole (Bolt-Through Design)

The sensor features a central installation hole, also known as a bolt-through design. This allows the sensor to be installed directly around bolts or shafts within the force transmission path.

This structure enables the applied force to pass directly through the sensor, making it suitable for inline installation in mechanical assemblies.

Protective Housing and Sealing Structure

The outer structure of the sensor includes a protective housing and sealing design. This helps protect the internal components from dust and moisture and supports stable operation in industrial environments.

The sealed structure also provides mechanical protection for the sensing element during installation and use.

The LFC-68 Ring-Shaped Force Sensor is built around a ring-shaped elastic body, strain gauge measurement points, a central bolt-through mounting hole, and a protective sealed housing. These structural elements work together to support force measurement in compact mechanical systems.

Produced by Shenzhen Ligent Sensor Tech Co., Ltd., it is designed for applications requiring direct force-path installation and stable structural integration.
